Susan has long had a passion for creating beautiful flower arrangements. Starting her career as a grocery store florist, she later went to school for floral design, and with the support of her husband Paul purchased Westbank Florist. She expanded the business from a one room operation to a booming business currently operating out of multiple properties. While Sue has recently taken a step back from the business, she is working harder than ever as a doting grandmother. Her daughters, Emily & Katibeth are continuing their mother's legacy, running the shop and have big plans to expand offering flowers, gifts, and someday may even boast a coffee shop!

Do you offer same-day flower delivery?
Yes, we provide same-day delivery for orders placed before 10:00 AM. If after 10:00 AM, please call our shop directly and we will see if we can still accommodate a same day delivery.
How much does flower delivery cost in Marrero?
Delivery fees vary depending on the location and distance. At checkout, you’ll see the exact cost for your area.
Can I order online or by phone?
Yes! You can order online anytime at westbankflorist.net or by phone at 504-341-4305 during our business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. - We are Closed Saturday & Sunday)
What forms of payment do you accept?
Online we accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, bank account payments, and Afterpay at our online checkout. For in-store or phone orders, we accept all major credit/debit cards, cash, & checks. We are NOT able to accept Tap or Apple Pay in store.
Can I request certain flowers or colors?
Of course! You can always request preferred flowers or color palette, however some blooms may be seasonal or limited. We recommend calling the shop directly discuss availability.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time. Please make sure to provide up to date phone number for the recipient.
Do you deliver flowers to hospitals, offices, or event venues in Marrero?
Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, and venues across Marrero and the New Orleans Metro Area. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout such as suite numbers, gate codes, or best door to knock on.
Can I include add-ons with my bouquet or arrangement?
Absolutely! We offer an array of gift items from local vendors & brands, as well as an array of curated gift baskets. These items can be found under the "Gifts" tab. Additionally you’ll see some smaller available add-ons on each product page and again at checkout. We have a much larger selection in store, so feel free to stop by or call for additional availability.
How do I make my flowers last longer?
Adding cold fresh water everyday will help the arrangement to last the longest. Additionally keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight to extend their life. Never place the blooms into a refrigerator.
